The Fight Between Respect and Contempt

I'd like to draw your attention to this blog posting by Jeffrey Carduner, "How Everyday! How Big!"-- The Right of Aesthetic Realism to Be Known #1864.  It's about the fight in every person between respect and contempt.  When people study this seriously, racism will end, simple as that.  This is not pie-in-the-sky.  Ellen Reiss, the Chair of Education, writes: "Part of the greatness of Aesthetic Realism is that it has described this fight in all its massiveness and nuance, and shown it to be the ongoing, principal battle all through history and in the daily life of everyone."  And as a history teacher and a man, I say "Amen to that!"
